Premier League Betting Odds – 17 August: Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal

Premier League betting odds were available for 17 August, the first week of the 2013-2014 season with games that feature Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, none of which are big favorites.

BetOnline

Swansea v Manchester Utd. featured EVEN odds for Manchester United, 3/1 odds on Swansea and 5/2 odds on the Draw. Swansea was seeing 38 percent of the betting action compared to Manchester United getting 43 percent.

Liverpool v Stoke had Liverpool getting 4/9 odds, Stoke listing at 8/1 and the Draw at 4/1.  61 percent of those betting this matchup were on Liverpool.

There is definitely some value on Stoke City here.

Liverpool have secured only two points and scored just one goal in their last four BPL meetings with Stoke City (D2 L2).

Arsenal featured odd of 2/5 in their matchup with Aston Villa, which was seeing 7/1 odds.  The Draw was listed at 4/1 odds.

62 percent of those betting this game were backing Arsenal, a club that has lost only one of their last nine Barclays Premier League meetings with Aston Villa (W5 D3).
