Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl Odds: Payouts

Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl odds featured payouts of better than even odds in a number of areas, including the money line, which would pay out $10.50 for every $10 bet at BetED.com with an outright win.  More than 70 percent of the public backing for the money line was on the Steelers as of Saturday morning.

The Steelers would pay even odds or slightly better than even odds with these bet offerings:  Team to receive the opening kickoff and longest touchdown scored.

Pittsburgh was listed with a line of -115 for most other bet options in the category of first punt, field goal scored, etc…at BetED.com.  The risk, in most cases, was less than that of the Packers.

The best of the Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl payouts included Ben Roethlisberger’s first pass in Sunday’s game being an interception, with a potential to pay out $120 on a $10 bet.  An incomplete pays $17.50.  Anyone other than Rashard Mendenhall scoring the first touchdown would pay $35 and up on a $10 bet.

Roethlisberger quarterback props were as follows:

(How to Read Odds:  +145 means a $10 bet pays $14.50.  -175 means $17.50 must be wagered to win $10.  Should the bet win, the $17.50 is refunded and a profit of $10 is realized).
