The Pittsburgh Steelers odds to win the 2012 Super Bowl were set at 8/1.  Any time you get the Steelers early in the season at those long odds to win the Championship game, we say pounce all over that number!

The Steelers were supposed to have been a mess last season with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger serving a four game suspension early on for his off-the-field antics.  Once back, there were fears he might be viewed as a pariah in the lockeroom.  Instead, Roethlisberger seemed to turn his life around and this group once again landed a spot in the Super Bowl.  Why they are at 8-1 long odds is anybody’s guess.  Typically, the Super Bowl loser has been tagged with the underdog status in recent years.

This is not your typical Super Bowl loser, however.  In just 12 games last season, Roethlisberger put up 3,200 yards.  Imagine the damage he can cause over a full season.

The one downside we see is Rashard Mendenhall, who is this year’s Ben Roethlisberger when it comes to extra curricular activities and controversies.  This is a team that already has experience in dealing with such nonsense.  Most believe Mendenhall will be a force on the field.  He tied the team’s long-standing record for rushing touchdowns last season and went for over 1200 yards.

And then there is Troy Polamalu, who we anticipate will be back to full health.

Again, we say it here at G911.co, 8/1 odds of the Pittsburgh Steelers winning the 2012 Super Bowl?  There has never been a better time to get in on such a great price.

The schedule features Baltimore twice, a game in Indianapolis, a game in Houston against a team they have only lost once to, a tough home game against New England and a game in Kansas City against one of last year’s biggest surprises,

We at Gambling911.com say 4 losses is possible but feel the Steelers will excel in at least one of those games.

The OVER 10.5 wins at -125 is a STEAL (no pun intended).

If you are still seeing these odds at the Bookmaker website, do yourself a big favor and lock them in now.
