Michael Vick Signs With Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles were still listed at +1200 odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl after news broke that they had signed former Atlanta Falcons quarterback, Michael Vick.

"You gotta think Vick is going to change the dynamics of this team, and probably not for the better since he'll be a backup to (Donovan) McNabb," said Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  "Not to mention he won't be seeing any action until at least Game 6."

Commissioner Roger Goodell conditionally lifted Vick's suspension on July 27 after the NFL player served time for running a dog fighting ring.  He can participate in all team activities accept for actually playing in games until October 18.

The team is a surprise landing point for Vick. It was among 26 clubs that said there was no interest in him.

The Eagles had been among the top 5 favorites to win the 2010 Super Bowl before news of Vick's signing came out on Thursday evening.
