Philadelphia Eagles Favorites to Win 2013 NFC Championship, Super Bowl

The betting public has spoken and they have made the Philadelphia Eagles favorites to win the 2013 NFC Championship and close favorites to win the Super Bowl.

Approximately 13 percent of the money on the NFC futures was coming in on Philadelphia, more than any other team.  The Eagles still had the third shortest odds of winning the NFC Championship at 5/1 after Green Bay and San Francisco, both 7/2 co-favorites.   The Chicago Bears were getting the most action to date on Super Bowl futures, according to Gambling911.com.

With Juan Castillo remaining as defensive coordinator after the team blew five fourth quarter leads and the Eagles getting a little worse each of the past few years under head coach Andy Reid’s tenure, it’s a little hard to understand why the public and oddsmakers continue to back Philadelphia so heavily.

The talent is there but they said the same thing last season, and look what that got them.
