It’s official.  Cam Newton will be starting for Carolina Sunday against Cleveland and this has resulted in a 2 point line move at Sportsbook.ag from -4 to -6.

Newton was involved in a serious car crash two weeks ago in Charlotte.  He suffered two small fractures in his lower back as a result of the crash.

Newton missed last Sunday's 19-17 victory over Tampa Bay.  Carolina's Playoff hopes are still very much alive despite their 5-8-1 record.

They will be without another of their top players, however.  Cornerback Joe Hadin will be out with an injured shoulder.
