This Sunday October 30th, the Atlanta Falcons will serve as hosts to the Green Bay Packers, an important game for two teams who have been struggling this season.

Atlanta is coming off a devastating loss to the Chargers last Sunday. The Falcons managed to lose the 10-point lead they had going into the second half, the San Diego Chargers forced the game into overtime and ended up winning by a field goal. With this the Falcons record is now at a precarious 4-3, making this a must win game for them at home.

The Packers on the other hand are coming from an overwhelming win against the Chicago Bears on Thursday, so they should be well rested. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers seemed like his old self in that game, throwing for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wide receiver Ty Montgomery has been at the receiving end of Rodgers passes the last two games, with 20 catches and 164 yards, he is likely to continue to be the go to guy in this game in part to cover for the loss of Eddie Lacy.

The Packers defense have their work cut out for them as they face a tough offensive team this week, Green Bay must put a lot of pressure on quarterback Matt Ryan to try and prevent him from passing the ball to Julio Jones down the field. This is a key factor if the Packers want a chance at winning this game, Jones has been on fire, torching his way through every secondary he faces, he has 16 receptions for a total of 313 yards in the last two games alone.

Another point of concern for the Packers will be trying to slow down Devonta Freeman, but this should be somewhat easier as Green Bay has only been allowing an average of 72 rushing yards per game, making them the second best in the league. If you are smart, you will bet this prop at www.AceSportsbook.com, Devonta Freeman under is sure prop bet in this game.

The Falcons on the other hand will have to rely on their passing game, as I said the Packers wonít allow them to develop their rushing game at all. Defensively they will lean on Vic Beasley who so far is the teamís best pass rusher, so far this season he has compiled 6.5 sacks. Aaron Rodgers should be very afraid.† The Falcons know that if they allow Rodgers to hang back in the pocket, giving him time to find receivers down the field they will be doomed.

Both teams will leave everything on the field this week, as they both desperately need this win to try and get back on track. The Falcons are laying 3 this Sunday, in my opinion there is great value in getting points on Aaron Rodgers against a weak defense, especially after seeing him return to form last week. This will be a very close game, it most likely come down to a fourth quarter last minute decision, it wonít be a blow out by any means, but the Packers should walk away with the win if they donít I sincerely doubt they will lose by more than 3, so in either case Packers +3 is the pick.

DR Congo has 1 point and likely needs a win to have a realistic shot at advancing as a third-place team. Uzbekistan has 0 points and must win to stay alive. A draw probably eliminates Uzbekistan and likely does very little for DR Congo.
