(November 25, 2022) The Oklahoma State Cowboys remained in the post season mix with an 8-3 record Straight Up ahead of their game versus West Virginia, where they are listed as a -8.5 home favorite.  The Cowboys lost to in-state rivals, the Sooners, in their previous week's game.

Cowboys quarterback Spencer Sanders passed for 381 yards and a touchdown but also had four interceptions, and those proved costly in the end.

“We just didn’t protect him very well and put him on the run a lot,” Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said. “And I think he hurried a few throws.”

Brennan Presley had nine catches for 118 yards and Braydon Johnson had a career-high seven receptions for 109 yards.

What's Next for Oklahoma State

The Cowboys opened the week as a -8.5 home favorite before the line dipped down to -7.5 on Friday.

We get a number of 11.72 for an underlay of 4 points.

There is a good argument to grab Oregon State here.  Underlays of greater than 4 without going under that number are 12-2 as of November 19, 2022.

Nov 19, 2022 @ OKLA - Oklahoma State +7.5 to +7 Oklahoma (home favorite Oklahoma covers and wins big) Oklahoma 5.48 Underlay 1.5 to 2 points.

Nov 5, 2022@ KU - Oklahoma State -2.5 to +1.5 KU (home dog to favorite covers and wins big).  Not a game for the fainthearted with the line moving from an underlay of 4.5 to 7.5 to Wrong Team Favored.  News had broken during the week of the KU quarterback being injured and not playing.

Oct 29, 2022@ KSU - NA

Oct 15, 2022@ TCU - Oklahoma State +3.5 to +4.5 TCU (This is one that the Cowboys did cover despite a loss.  They just barely covered with TCU winning by 3 points) We had an overlay of 2 to 3 points.  The Cowboys stuck to a hot season trend whereby overlays within this number range were 15-4 in favor of the dog.
