NFC North

The odds to win the NFC North Division are incredibly competitive coming into this season with even the lowly Detroit Lions suddenly in the mix with 3/1 odds at betED.com.

We still don’t know if Brett Favre is returning to the Minnesota Vikings.  They were at +140 odds, which pays $14 for every $10 bet.

Athlon sys of the Lions:

The Lions now have some blue-chip talent in place, especially at the most important position in Stafford. Now it’s time to see if the coaching staff can turn a perennial doormat into a competitive team. The Lions have won two games in two years, but a 6–10 mark in 2010 isn’t asking for too much.

Still, Gambling911.com sees little value in betting 3/1 odds on Detroit to win the NFC North.  We say 10/1 odds might make us move on it.

Odds to win the NFC North Division were as follows and available at betED.com.

Minnesota Vikings

+140

Green Bay Packers

+130

Chicago Bears

+300

Detroit Lions

+300

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
