Paris Saint-Germain was the -200 favorite to win Ligue 1 2012.

Lyon is the next closest with +400 or 4/1 odds of winning while Lille was at 5/1 and Montpellier was at 16/1.  Rennes came in a distant 50/1 and any other team was listed at 100/1 odds.

It is hard to bet against Paris Saint-Germain here.

Brazilian leftback Maxwell looks set to sign for French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint Germain after the club reached agreement with his present side Barcelona over the transfer on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old - a Champions League winner with Barcelona last year - is due in Paris to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical with PSG according to the Spanish champions.

"After reaching agreement in principle with PSG over the transfer of Maxwell, the player will fly to Paris today (Wednesday) to sort out the final details of the contract," read a statement by Barcelona.

"Once these details are ironed out, he will undergo a medical and finalise his transfer."
