Odds on Whether Greg Hardy Will be Activated by the End of 2014-2015 NFL Season

Bookmaker.eu released odds Monday morning as to whether Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy would be activated before the end of this season.

Oddsmakers feel confident that he will be, posting a line of -150.

The Panthers benched Hardy Sunday after news outlets began raising the issue of the NFL player’s past alleged improprieties.  Hardy was charged July 15 with assault on a female and communicating threats.

Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said of his decision to bench Hardy the "climate has changed" in the NFL and the team "has to get this right."

"We have to go through a very difficult process and he has to go through one, as do other people as well," Rivera said. "This is a very serious situation and set of circumstances. We are going to work things out and hopefully we get it right."

The NFL is currently getting lambasted after a video surfaced last week of former Baltimore Ravens star Ray Rice knocking his then-fiance unconscious in a casino elevator.

On Friday, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was charged and subsequently arrested for child endangerment.
