The Canaries haven’t won against Liverpool since 1994, more than 20 years ago, making either Liverpool or the Draw especially enticing.

Since that loss, the Reds have recorded nine victories while there have been two draws.

The Reds are looking to end a run of three league matches without a win.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp worries that Norwich has made some upgrades that now make their opponent more formidable.

"They have had some problems in defence, less in offence," he said. "They are creative and quick but they conceded easy goals.

"But they have changed this situation, taking Timm Klose. I know him, he's really good. We are the first team who have to play [against] their new team.

"Steven Naismith is a really good player. I saw him live for Scotland and was really impressed. He's a danger."

Norwich possible starting lineup: Rudd; Pinto, Klose, Bassong, Brady; Odjidja, Howson, Tettey, Jarvis; Hoolahan; Naismith Liverpool possible starting lineup: Mignolet; Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno; Henderson, Can, Milner; Ibe, Lallana, Firmino
