While Nick Fairley's career got off to a turbulent start with the Detroit Lions from 2011 due primarily to injuries, the Auburn standout improved the past two seasons and, with the Saints last year, he had the best season of his with a career-high 6.5 sacks and 22 quarterback hits.

Fairley will be sidelined for the entire 2017 season due to a heart issue.

The Saints were a favorite to win OVER 8.5 regular season games in 2017 and losing Fairley might not help here.
