Calvin Johnson Tells Lions Coach He’s Set to Retire Before Start of 2016 Season - There hasn’t yet been an announcement, but news Sunday makes it look more likely that Calvin Johnson will retire before the 2016 season.  According to ESPN, Johnson told his family 2015 would be his final year, and he told coach Jim Caldwell the same thing after the season ended.
