NFL 2017 Futures Betting – Detroit Lions

2017 NFL futures betting odds for the Detroit Lions appear here:

Regular Season Wins: OVER 7.5 -110 / UNDER 7.5 -110

Super Bowl: 65/1

NFC North: 6/1

45% of the public was backing the OVER and 55% were on the UNDER

The Lions feature a relatively winnable schedule compared to years past.  They have a single stretch of back-to-back road games late in the season. Detroit is on national television four times (three prime-time games plus Thanksgiving).

ESPN.com has Detroit winning 9 regular season games, believing the Lions and Packers duke it out in the final week to determine first place in the NFC North.

We here at Gambling911.com are not so optimistic, with Detroit looking more like an 8-8 team at best.  That’s because we have much higher hopes for the Packers, Vikings, and, yes, even the Bears…. at least early on.
