BetOnline currently has the New York Jets with 78-1 odds of winning the 2015 Super Bowl after it was announced Chris Johnson will be joining the team.

Johnson, a free agent, is one of only six running backs to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his first six NFL seasons.

ESPN.com broke the news that the former Titans running back will sign with the Jets.

Johnson, released April 4, generated little interest on the open market. He visited with only one team -- the Jets -- wrapping up his visit Tuesday.  He has agreed to a two-year contract.

The Jets finished a solid sixth in rushing last season, and they have every running back returning in 2014, but they felt they need to add more speed.
