New York Giants vs. Houston Texans Odds

New York Giants vs. Houston Texans odds were set at Texans -3 across the board.  This is where the line opened and it remains one of the steadiest during Week 5 of the NFL.  Despite the lack of movement in the line, action was lopsided with Houston getting around 75 percent of the early spread betting.

The total was fluctuating somewhat between 47 and 47 ½with relatively balanced action.

After beating the Oakland Raiders in Week 4, The Texans are 3-1 for the first time in team history.  They have won four straight road games dating back to last season.

Arian Foster, the league's leading rusher, ran for 131 yards in just three quarters, having had to sit out the first quarter as a result for his behavior off the field.

The New York Giants managed to bring their record to 2-2 after two consecutive weeks of sloppy play. New York had 10 sacks against the Bears on Sunday.

"Coach Coughlin has been preaching all week, it's time to get back to Giants football," safety Antrel Rolle said. "Cut all the media talk, cut out all the things that can cause distractions to this team, and let's just come together and play ball, because it's about that time."

The home team has won both games in this series, however, the Giants and Texans have not met since 2006.
