The New York Giants regular season wins total betting odds were coming in at OVER/UNDER 8.5 with the OVER favored at -135.  For those Giants haters out there, the UNDER was priced at +115 at Bookmaker.

There’s not a whole lot to suggest the Giants will play under .500 football this coming season especially with such a questionable division.

Let’s take a look at the 2013 NFL regular schedule for the Giants and see the possibilities.

In theory, New York should be able to win 3 of their division games (presumably at home).  They can also win against Minnesota at home, Oakland at home and we would give them either the Seahawks or Packers at home.  That’s 6 home games at least the Giants should be able to win.

New York plays Carolina, Kansas City and Detroit on the road.  The Lions could prove to have a meaningless game in Week 16 depending on how the NFC North shapes up.

Of course, we could have a situation where the Giants dominate the NFC East and win all of their games, thus making a 9-win season more in reach.
