Juwan Howard has yet to lose a game in his first-ever head coaching gig. The hiring of the former Michigan star last spring was hailed by fans and alumni but there were also question marks surrounding him.
It had been 25 years since Howard was last involved in college basketball, his third and final season as part of the fabled Fab Five that twice led Michigan to the NCAA Tournament title game. He then played 19 seasons in the NBA before spending six more years as an assistant coach with the Miami Heat.
