Lions-Packers Last Game of the Regular Season Sees Most Action

Dave Mason of BetOnline looks at all the hot betting action for this the final week of the 2022-23 NFL regular season.

And the hottest game appears to be the finale.  Who would have thunk it?

The Lions lost six of their first seven games. The Packers entered last month with a 4-8 record.  Both teams are now 8-8, tied with Seattle for the final wild-card berth.

A win by the Seahawks in an earlier game will mean that Detroit is eliminated from playoff contention.  Green Bay simply needs to win at home.

A loss by Seattle will almost certainly result in very heavy betting action late in the day on this game.

We get a number of Packers 4.51.  The line was 4.5 to 5 Green Bay early on and that's about as accurate a line as we're gonna get.

The spread should fluctuate dramatically should the Seahawks pull off the victory and the game suddely becomes irrelevant for both teams (translation: Aaron Rodgers sits this one out).

The Lions odds of making the Playoffs pay 6-1 odds while the Seahawks pay 3-1.

The BetOnline All Access team also offers their picks on this game, which are mostly based on whether this one matters beyond pride.

Another meaningful game is previewed as the Cowboys play in DC for some good post season slots.
