After opening at Panthers -3.5, dropping to -2.5 then shooting up to -5 Monday, the Super Bowl 50 Las Vegas line had peaked at -4.5 at most of the land-based books.  A few of the offshore books had jumped to -5.5.

“It’s doubtful we will see anyone climb to -6,” suggests Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  “The exposure would be way too high,” he noted.

Most of the more sharp offshore books had been holding at -4.5.

And just how many folks were betting the Carolina Panthers to cause such a line fluctuation?

The books are averaging between 85% and 90% with both the bet tickets and money volume on the Panthers.

The total on this game was coming in at 45 with the OVER seeing 75% of the action.
