Jets-Patriots Line

The Jets-Patriots line was listed anywhere from New England -8.5 at BetUS.com to New York +10 at a handful of other online sportsbooks.  A few were also posting the line at +9.5.  Essentially one could bet both sides at two different books and hope that the Patriots win by 9 points (considered a good number for middling).

In their last 10 meetings, the Patriots have beaten the Jets by 9 points on one of those occasions.  None of the last 10 games played by either team came in at a 9-point margin, however.

At home the Patriots have beaten New York by more than the current spread the last two games played at Foxborough and four of the last five.  The home team in this series has won and covered in the last four.

Nearly every game the Jets have played over the last 10 except for that Patriots dismantling have been won or lost by 6 points of less.  The Jets beat Cincinnati and Buffalo by double digits over that time frame.

As far as trends go, The Jets are 9-3 Against The Spread in their last 12 vs. AFC and are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games.  The Jets are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games as a road underdog.

The Patriots are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0 but are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 playoff games.  They are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0.

Aiyuk-Deebo Trade Odds and ROY Shift

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
