Forte spent eight seasons with the Chicago bears, where he was second on the team’s all-time rushing list after Walter Payton.  FS1 Insider Mike Garafolo has confirmed ESPN’s report.

Forte had been slowed down by injuries last season, rushing for a career-low 898 yards but still averaged 4.1 yards per carry.

Ivory was the Jets leading rusher. He will sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
