The New York Jets are now favored to win UNDER 5 regular season games in 2017 with the announcement that wide receiver Eric Decker has been cut from the team.  The price on the UNDER was currently set at -160 with the OVER paying $13 for every $10 bet.

The Jets would free up $5.75 million in cap savings by parting ways with Decker, who had his best year in 2015, catching 80 passes for 1027 yards and 12 touchdowns.  He only had nine receptions last year however.

The team had earlier in the day released linebacker David Harris.  This followed a series of purging of veterans during the offseason that included center Nick Mangold, cornerback Darrelle Revis, guard Breno Giacomini, wide receiver Brandon Marshall and kicker Nick Folk.
