Jaguars-Jets Betting Line

The Jaguars-Jets betting line was among the biggest of the week despite both teams coming into this game at 1-0.  The New York spread was -9.  Some books still had the line at -10.  It actually opened at -12.

New York beat Dallas this past Sunday night.

Nick Folk kicked a 50-yard field goal with 27 seconds left, giving them a 27-24 victory.

"It was a draining game," Jets head coach Rex Ryan said. "I am just so proud we were able to pull this thing out, for the town, as well. I probably even feel better about that than I do for our football team."

Meanwhile, Jacksonville got the job done against Tennessee at home last Sunday, also in the final minutes with a 16-14 victory.

The Jaguars have enjoyed success against the Jets in their three head-to-head games played since 2005, the last of which was a Jacksonville 24-22 victory in the Meadowlands.

While Jacksonville is 5-1 Against The Spread in their last 6 games following a ATS win, they are also 1-7 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

The Jets are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
