Jacksonville Jaguars 2010 Super Bowl

The Jacksonville Jaguars 2010 Super Bowl odds were listed at 45/1 at Sportsbetting.com.  For us here at Gambling911.com, we feel compelled to place a small bet on the Jaguars to win the Super Bowl.

A $10 bet pays $450.

A $100 bet pays $4500.

This is a team that, after all, is playing in what is probably the toughest division.  The AFC South features an Indianapolis team that is undefeated, a Tennessee team that had won 5 straight going into last week and was the last undefeated team in 2008 and a Houston Texans team that continues to be competitive.  Despite all these obstacles, Jacksonville sits at 7-5.  Meanwhile, early favorites in the AFC have seemingly imploded such as the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots are not looking very invincible these days either.  Jacksonville  host Miami this week as a -3 favorite.

The Jaguars have won 5 of their last 7 games.  They have won their last 5 home games.  The pundits will argue that Jacksonville has not played a team with a winning record during the last 10 weeks and Miami will present the greatest competition thus far.  But Miami is simply flirting with the .500 mark the same way that the Jaguars past opponents such as Houston, Tennessee, the New York Jets and San Francisco have been (they lost to the 49ers).

Jacksonville beat Miami by a score of 24-10 the last time they met in 2006.

The Jaguars will have their work cut out for them over these next four weeks.  Following Miami it's a Thursday night game against Indianapolis then comes two road games in what could be a blustery New England and Cleveland.

We can look at things in another way, however.  Jacksonville could beat Miami.  The Colts won't have much to play for and may rest players next week.  And maybe it won't be so cold in New England and Cleveland those final two weeks.  Will the Browns even want to play in Week 17?  10-6 is entirely possible as New England will likely be the most hungry team on the remaining schedule.  That should get them in the wildcard.

$10 is a nominal risk to win $450.

Deposit up to $300 and Sportsbetting.com will match that number.  For example:  Open an account with $500 using your credit card or other accepted method and Sportsbetting.com will put another $300 into your account Plus an additional 10 percent bonus (in this case $50).   This offer is for Gambling911.com readers ONLY so click here to open your account!  USE BONUS CODE GAMBLING911 when joining.
