Vikings at Home Solid Against Teams With Winning Records
The Minnesota Vikings are 8-0 Against The Spread in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Dallas has only one defeat this season and has the best record in the NFL.
It’s interesting to note that oddsmakers had previously pushed this line up to -3.5 (favoring Dallas) but have kept that number at -3 despite more than 75 percent of the bets coming in on the Cowboys. This seems to indicate bookies have a strong opinion on Minnesota though game outcomes that fall on the number 3 could add to a book’s already high exposure.
Vikings Injuries Mounting and Even the Head Coach Falls Victim
It’s a somewhat dangerous time in which to back the injury-ridden Vikings but amazing how far they have come this season all things considered.
Now we are learning that head coach Mike Zimmer may be the latest injury casualty, having had emergency eye surgery last night. His status for coaching Thursday night’s game is uncertain. In fact, as this was just going to press we are learning that Zimmer will NOT be coaching. Instead special teams coordinator Mike Priefer will take his place. No line change noted.
