Gambling911.com is providing this brief Green Bay Packers 2010 season preview and odds.

For the most part the Packers are either co-favorites to win the NFC North with the Minnesota Vikings or slightly favored.  In any case, the line is typically in minus (-) territory.

SBG Global actually has the Green Bay Packers a much wider margin favorite than their nemesis the Favre-led Vikings.  Packers come in at -150 to win the division compared to even odds for the Vikings.

Odds of the Green Bay Packers winning the 2011 Super Bowl would pay just shy of $800 on a $100 bet or $80 on a $10 bet.

Only the Cowboys have shorter odds of winning the NFC Conference at +300 or 3/1 odds.  Green Bay was listed at 4/1.

Here is a warning for Packers backers:  SBG Global has Green Bay a -130 favorite to win UNDER 10 regular season games.  The OVER pays slightly better than even odds.  This is likely a reflection of the competitive nature of this division.  Chicago remains a contender here.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for nearly 4500 yards and had 30 touchdown passes last season.  Ryan Grant totaled more than 1200 yards and had 11 touchdowns.  And the defense is expected to be stifling once again in 2010-2011.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
