While Florida State enters this game with a 9-0 undefeated record Straight Up, they have had some difficulty paying out, especially early in the season.  This is illustrated by their 2-7 record Against The Spread.  Miami, on the other hand, is 6-3 Straight Up and has a better ATS record than FSU: 5-4.

The Seminoles have owned this series over the last four seasons, beating Miami by more than the current number on each of those occasions.

The Canes are 4-0 Against The Spread in their last 4 home games, 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a Straight Up win of more than 20 points and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a bye week.

They have had some difficulties Against The Spread vs. teams with winning records, going 3-7.

Action on this game was relatively balanced.  The line has been moving between -1 and -3.5 throughout the week though.
