Floyd Mayweather Super Bowl 49 Bet: Pacquiao Fight Announcement Before Game

Floyd Mayweather's Super Bowl pick (and crazy betting) is a hot button topic AFTER the big game but this year an announced fight with Manny Pacquiao could make news before Super Bowl 49.  Skybook has already posted odds on Mayweather vs. Pacquiao with Mayweather a -300 favorite and Pacquiao offering a potential payout of $230 for every $100 bet.

The should be finalized in "the next couple days," Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told the New York Post over the weekend.

For years this fight has been in the works but has never come to fruition until now (or so it seems).

Speculation is running rampant that the two will agree to finally fight one another, quite possibly in May. There was even some talk the announcement would come out during the Super Bowl.  How about some odds Guys?

Both were cordial to one another at courtside the other night while attending a Miami Heat game.

Mayweather in recent years has made headlines during Super Bowl for other reasons, primarily having to do with his “unsubstantiated” huge wagers.

Supposedly he bet over $10 million on the Denver Broncos to win last year’s Super Bowl.  Let’s hope that didn’t happen.
