Fighting Irish Ranked Number One: Notre Dame vs. USC Line to be Determined

The Fighting Irish were ranked number one on the BCS Standings coming into Week 13.  The line on the Notre Dame vs. USC game was off the board late Sunday but should be available shortly at Bookmaker.eu

This is the first time in school history that Notre Dame has ranked number one.   A win against USC would likely result in the Fighting Irish playing in the BCS Championship.  Head into this season, Notre Dame was listed with 25-1 odds to win the 2013 BCS Championship game.

"Now we don't have to answer the questions about style points or politics or anything like that," Irish coach Brian Kelly said earlier Sunday. "We get a chance to play for the national championship provided we win this week."

USC did manage to beat Notre Dame on the road last year as a +9.5 underdog.  The road team in this series has won the last three seasons.

The Fighting Irish are 1-6 Against The Spread in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.  They are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU win of more than 20 points.
