The Falcons Chiefs spread had Atlanta a -2.5 favorite on the road after this line originally opened as a PICK’EM.  70 percent of those betting on this game spread were backing the Falcons at BetOnline, which was offering up to $900 in FREE BETS for qualified new signups.

Tony Bryant of BetOnline noted about the Falcons:  “Atlanta has had defensive problems for the past two years that has prevented the team from moving forward in the playoffs. As the preseason ended, quarterback Matt Ryan and the Falcons' offense looked like the powerhouse it is expected to be. If the Falcons defense can follow suit, then this Atlanta team will be a tough one to beat.”

He also cautioned about betting against KC this season:  "This team is a far cry from the Chiefs team that got blown out on opening by the Buffalo Bills last season. This team is going to compete for an AFC West title this season."

Be forewarned, the Chiefs are 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a home favorite of 0.5-3.0.
