The Falcons 2011 Super Bowl odds would pay $440 for every $100 bet at Bookmaker.com, making them the second favorite biggest favorite after the New England Patriots (+120 odds).

Atlanta, while pegged to play well this season, has exceeded most pundits (and oddsmakers) expectations.  They were first installed as 30/1 odds long shots to win the 2011 Super Bowl.

With just three losses during the regular season, the Falcons will need to get past a Green Bay Packers team that is starting to get more healthy.  Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan is yet to have a Playoffs victory.  Neither had Packers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers until last week.

"I think the dome has been a tough place for teams to come in and play this year," Ryan said.  "The atmosphere has been electric. I think specifically for us offensively, it's a benefit to be at home."

Ryan has already set career highs with 3,705 yards and 28 touchdowns this season.

Gambling911.com noted a few variables coming into this game that could translate into an Atlanta win and continued road to the Super Bowl.

Atlanta has lost only one game at home during the regular season.  The Packers have lost five road games.

Atlanta has a substantial special teams advantage.

The Falcons are not prone to turning over the ball.  Only two teams in the NFL have turned the ball over less than the Falcons.

Atlanta beat Green Bay by 3 points at home during Week 12.
