Denver Cover Huge For Bookies With Super Bowl 50 in the Books - The books are celebrating a big Broncos win and cover in Super Bowl 50 to give Peyton Manning his second ring before what is likely his retirement.  At one point last week nearly 80 percent of the betting action had been on Carolina.

Super Bowl 50 Late Action Pours in on Broncos - For the first time since the number opened two weeks ago, the Super Bowl 50 line has dropped to Panthers -4 ½  Dave Mason of BetOnline was reporting that heavy money line action had come in on Denver last minute.  Mason wrote a few minutes before the start of the game: "With the late Broncos spread $ today, the money line now almost a big a need. But we need Panthers ML. 73% of bets on Denver +180."

The change occurred just two hours prior to the big game.

Books had moved all the way up to Panthers -6 with more than 80 percent of the spread action coming in on Carolina at one point.

Some books were still holding at -5.5 with action closer to 60 percent at 4 pm EST.

Live in-play wagering was available throughout the game.
