BetOnline is reporting that the Denver Broncos odds of winning the 2015 Super Bowl were now 5-1, slashed from 8-1, after the announced signings of both Demarcus Ware and Aqib Talib.
Pass rusher DeMarcus Ware got a $30 million, three-year contract from the Denver Broncos on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after being released by the Dallas Cowboys.
The former Patriots cornerback, Aquib Talib, signed his new, six-year contract — worth $57 million, with $26 million guaranteed — on Wednesday.
“Thanks for the opportunity to be here, opportunity to play for a great organization,” Talib said at an introductory news conference in Denver. “I’m just excited, man. Looking forward to the opportunity.”
Some online sportsbooks had Denver with odds as short as 3-1 to win the 2015 Super Bowl.
