Colts-Titans Spread Thursday Night Sees Extremely Lopsided Betting Action

One of the most lopsided affairs in terms of betting, the Colts-Titans spread had Indianapolis getting just shy of 100 percent as of late Tuesday night at Sportsbook.com.

“There is less than 48 hours remaining until this game goes off and we obviously have oddsmakers with a strong opinion since the line has barely moved,” observed Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Between this game and the Navy vs. Army game Saturday, online bookmakers could end up getting clobbered depending on the outcomes.  Navy also had been getting around 95 percent of the action in their respective game and Army hasn’t come close to winning since 2001.

The troubled Titans were getting 10 percent of the money line and the UNDER 46 was getting around 65 percent of the action.

The Titans come into this game having lost five in a row.  They have scored 17 points or less during that time.  Tennessee starting quarterback Kerry Collins finished with a passer rating of 34.5, one of his worst outings in years.

Indianapolis meanwhile continues their downward spiral, this time falling to Dallas.  This is their third consecutive loss.  The Colts now find themselves at .500 and behind Jacksonville by 1 game in the AFC South.

The good news for Indianapolis is that they have won their last three games against Tennessee.

Outside of that, Gambling911.com doesn’t see a whole lot of trending data that favors one team over the other.

The Colts are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 Thursday games.  The Titans are 4-1 ATS in Thursday games.   Tennessee is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games in December.

The Colts are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.

Colts are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game.

The Colts are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 road games.

Indianapolis is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a Straight Up loss.   The Titans are an even more dismal 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss.

The Titans are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a home underdog.

The Titans are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. AFC South.

Tennessee is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
