The Chiefs vs. Bears spread was listed at -7 in favor of Chicago early Sunday morning with the line moving very little throughout the week.  65 percent of those betting the spread were backing the Bears here.  Jay Cutler remains out for Chicago.

Tony Bryant of BetOnline.com:  “The Chiefs will have a tough time moving the ball against a talented Chicago defense, and as long as the tandem of Forte and Marion Barber can continue to pound the rock and help open things up for Hanie to complete a pass once in a while the Bears should be fine. Thanks to the Detroit Lions struggling the door is still wide open for Chicago to push for a playoff spot, but these are the games that they simply need to have if they are going to reach that goal.”

Here is something scary to consider:  Kansas City has scored a total of 25 points over their last four games, all losses.  The Bears rank 8th against the run this season, so Gambling911.com doesn’t expect the Chiefs to improve much in terms of scoring this week.  KC starting quarterback in place of Matt Cassel has thrown for just 444 yards without a single score.

But before considering a play on the UNDER 37 keep in mind that the Bears have managed to score 30 or more points over their last six games and 20 or more during that same stretch.

Bryant noted that “Chicago will wrap up their season with three of their final five on the road including a trip to face the undefeated Green Bay Packers, which makes this home date that much more crucial. Running back Matt Forte has been up to the challenge all season with an average of five yards per carry, and won’t back down in this game.”

This is not just a “must win” game for Chicago but a “must blow out win” and, with the line set at a mere touchdown, Gambling911.com believes the Bears should be able to win this by double digits.  Keep in mind, the Bears still played hard on the road without Cutler against a winning Raiders team last week.  We are on the Bears -7 after enjoying a strong College Football showing this week.
