Kansas City shut out the Houston Texans on the road Saturday instilled with 14-1 odds of winning Super Bowl 50.  That number was sure to be slashed into the single digits.

For the Chiefs, it was their first Playoff victory in 22 years and they extended their NFL-best winning streak to 11 games.

“I’m proud of the guys,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said after the game. “The coaches had a nice plan and the players played their hearts out.”

Kansas City has now covered the spread in seven of their last eleven games.  They will face a New England Patriots team who are the current reigning Super Bowl champions, though at times looking vulnerable in recent games.

While New England will come into this Playoff game with a 10-4 record Straight Up, they are just 7-7 Against The Spread, pushing in two other games.

Kansas City crushed the visiting Patriots last season 41-14.
