This is a critical AFC West matchup in Week 15 with both the Kansas City Chiefs and LA Chargers tied for the lead at 7-6.  Barring a tie, one of these two teams will move two games above the .500 mark and hold the lead solo.

The Chiefs come into this game as a +1 home underdog at most books.

The Chargers now sit on a four-game winning streak, blowing out their opponents 131-53 in that stretch.  This follows opening the season 0-4.

Kansas City, after being the last undefeated team this season (starting off 5-0), ultimately endured their own four game lose streak.  They ended that with a defiant victory over the Oakland Raiders last week.

Kansas City coach Andy Reid remains wary of the threat Philip Rivers poses along with his favorite target, wide receiver Keenan Allen.

"He's time tested," Reid said of Rivers. "He's been doing it a long time and at a very high level. He's got Allen who's healthy and that's his guy and he's playing at a high level. So he's in tune with the offense and his players and things are clicking for him."

The Chiefs will likely be without starting center Mitch Morse.  The offensive line fared well without Morse last week as the team pile up 165 rushing yards and kept quarterback Alex Smith relatively clean.

This game was occasionally coming off the board as three other players remain questionable for the Chiefs.  They include linebackers Tamba Hali (knee), Kevin Pierre-Louis (quad) and safety Eric Murray (ankle sprain).

While NFL Betting Power Ratings do not take into account injuries, the line on this game should be KC -1.5 to -2 (assuming a healthy Chiefs squad).

The Chiefs have won the last seven games in this series.

Action was balanced here.

We do not recommend betting until there is a better understanding of the KC roster, likely just hours prior to this game.
