Carolina Panthers 2017 Season Betting Preview

The Charlotte Observer was quick to note that USA Today does not like the Panthers chances this year despite pundits believing they can bounce back nicely in 2017 despite a rough post Super Bowl appearance in 2016.  Carolina has actually been picked last to win the tough NFC South at 7-9.

The Observer also suggests that USA Today simply used the same order of finish as 2016, “lacking any imagination”.

Also fans of the team want them to stay under the radar:

Many fans prefer that the Panthers aren’t picked highly in the preseason, as the team has often had its best seasons entering the year with low expectations. Count tennis star John Isner -- a rabid Panthers supporter -- among those who believe low expectations are best. Isner tweeted out “Love this” when he read of the USA Today Panthers prediction online.
