Cam Newton and Jonathan Stewart are co-favorites to score the first touchdown for the Panthers at 4/1 odds for a potential payout of $40 on every $10 bet.

Greg Olsen would pay out 5-1 odds or $50 for every $10 bet.

Newton and the Panthers finished the season with a 15–1 record, a franchise best, and it goes without saying that Cam played a pivotal role in landing Carolina in their second Super Bowl ever.

Newton's 45 total touchdowns during the regular season marked the most touchdowns by a single player since 2013.  He was chosen as 2015 NFL MVP and comes in as the big favorite to be named Super Bowl 50 MVP.

In the NFC championship game, Newton completed 19 of 28 passes for 335 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed 10 times for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
