Cardinals vs. Lions Betting Odds 2017 Week 1 NFL

The Cardinals vs. Lions betting odds for Week 1 Sunday game had Detroit +2.

Suspensions and injuries to early season opponents help make a case for the OVER 8.5 with Arizona.  They are also expected to have one of the best defenses in the league this season.

But there are issues, as one executive told ESPN.com: “They have (DJ) Humphries starting at tackle, and that is scary.

“They have had O-line issues in the past and still do.  Humphries has never been consistent, and a 36-year-old quarterback with a left tackle who has been inconsistent and hurt as an issue, especially when you know they are going to throw it a lot.”

As far as Detroit goes, the schedule and Matthew Stafford have the capability of boosting the Lions into the 8 to 10-wins column, according to Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com.
