Cardinals-Panthers Conference Championship Game Weather Impact

The monster snowstorm expected to affect the US East Coast will be impacting the Charlotte region but fortunately the Cardinals-Panthers Conference Championship game will be played long after the storm is expected to pass.

The line has been a solid -3 everywhere favoring Charlotte.

The Cardinals-Panthers game may not be completely out of the woods as it will be chilly enough (30s) to give Carolina the slight edge.

What to monitor is the Cardinals ability to get into Charlotte.  The team is expected to land some time Saturday morning after the storm has left the region but icing conditions could delay opening of one of the nation’s busiest hubs.

American Airlines canceled all flights at Charlotte-Douglas airport for Friday ahead of the winter storm. American is the biggest airline at Charlotte.  Officials said they hope to resume flights Saturday.
