WILL THESE STATES WELCOME SPORTS BETTING IN THE NEAR FUTURE?

Louisiana - Louisiana, despite having casinos, essentially rejected the idea of offering legalized sports betting in that state.

A bill to legalize sports betting in 16 locations including riverboats was rejected on a 6-3 vote by the Senate Finance Committee who said they were worried the bill expanded gambling.

Arkansas - Gambling proponents in the state are hopeful of getting sports betting legalized but first they need to collect enough signatures to get something on the ballot in time for November's elections.  Assuming residents of the state can vote on the referendum and sports betting does get approved.  Nothing is happening until after Super Bowl 53.   That's a given.

Needless-to-say, gamblers from these states will need to rely on international websites to place all their NFL bets
