The Buffalo Bills 2014-2015 odds to win the AFC division were set at +1500.  Bet $100 to win $1500 at Sportsbook.ag.

Oddsmakers had the Bills a big -165 favorite to win UNDER 6.5 regular season games.

The team is not without its strengths.  They led the AFC in number of sacks, 57.

The Bills defense ranked among the top 10 in 2013.  That said, the run defense was not sufficient.

Another major concern for the Bills is their passing game.

Josh Alper of ProFootballWeekly.com writes:

There’s enough talent on defense and in the backfield to make a case for the Bills taking that step forward, but they stand right alongside several trouble spots that make it hard to buy into that wholeheartedly as the Bills head toward a new chapter in the history of the franchise.

There is little to suggest the Bills can come anywhere close to winning more games than the New England Patriots in 2014 to take the division.  It is also hard to see Buffalo winning 7 or more games during the regular season unless the defense really comes through big.  The UNDER 6.5 is a little pricey at -165.
