Bucs-Saints Week 16 NFL Betting Line – Tampa Bay Playoff Hopes Alive

The Bucs-Saints Week 16 betting line had New Orleans as a -3 favorite.  Despite missing out on the post season, the Saints have won half of their last ten games, playing competitively in a few of those losses.  New Orleans also features one of the better offenses in the league.  This team would like to end 2016 on a high note with a .500 record possible following a slow start.

How Can the Bucs Make the Playoffs?

The Buccaneers are one game behind first-place Atlanta in the NFC South and tied with Green Bay for the final wild-card spot.  With some help from either team, Tampa Bay could survive a loss in this game but a victory Saturday should go a long way towards securing a Playoff spot.

Bucs-Saints Head to Head Betting Trends

While the Bucs have won two of the last three games in this series, including this year at home, New Orleans had won the seven previous games.  Whether the tide is completely shifting we’ll have a better handle on later Saturday.

The UNDER is 13-3 in the last 16 meetings with the total set at 53.   The UNDER is also 7-0 in the Saints last 7 vs. a team with a winning record.
