A Caesars Palace sportsbook manager told ESPN ahead of the new season: "There are more bets on the Browns to win AFC North than the other three teams combined. Only the Raiders and Steelers have more bets to win the AFC. The public likes the Browns, and I'm not sure why."

"The Browns are our only liability right now," Jay Rood, MGM's vice president of race and sports, said of his book's odds to win the Super Bowl. "We're sitting pretty well on every other team except Cleveland."

Dave Mason of BetOnline confirmed his book also had the most exposure on the Browns this season. SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE

Rookie Baker Mayfield entered for his debut late in the second quarter and brought the Browns back from a 14-0 deficit to prevail 21-17, snapping a 19-game winless streak dating back to Dec. 24, 2016 -- a span of 635 days.

The top pick in this year's draft, Mayfield went 17 for 23 for 201 yards passing and remarkably caught the two-point conversion that tied the game at 14 with 42 seconds left in the third quarter.

Mayfield entered the game late in the first half after Tyrod Taylor left the game with a concussion and the Jets ahead by two touchdowns.

Their odds of winning the Super Bowl should improve. They were listed at 100-1 coming into their game against the Jets.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers current woes, the AFC North has opened up.  It's the Cincinnati Bengals that lead the pack heading into Week 3.
