Browns-Bills Point Spread: Week 13 Fantasy Outlook – Josh Gordon, Brian Hoyer

The Browns-Bills point spread for Week 13 had Buffalo as a -3 home favorite though some books were offering this one at -3.5.  We also have your fantasy outlook for Cleveland’s Josh Gordon and Brian Hoyer.

Both teams are very much in the Playoffs picture as we enter Week 13 play.  Buffalo is one game above .500 and has paid out in five of its game thus far.  Cleveland has paid out in 6 of 9 and enters this game with a 7-4 record.  The Browns were still a 100-1 long shot to win the 2015 Super Bowl.

These two teams split wins and losses over the last two seasons with the Browns winning 37-24 at home in 2013.

The Bills are just 5-16 Against The Spread in their last 21 games following a Straight Up win of more than 14 points.

Betting action on this game was balanced.

With regard to the day’s Daily Fantasy Sports contests, one of the most highly touted players of the day is Cleveland’s Josh Gordon.  He won’t come cheap at around $8000 but most sites insist he needs to be played.

It is surmised that Buffalo’s run defense will force more plays in the air and, thus, more opportunities for Gordon.  His first game back from suspension last week resulted in 16 converted targets to 120 yards.  The Bills have also permitted plenty of wideout successes this season.

The quarterback battle is one to keep an eye on as Cleveland's Brian Hoyer has hit 300 yards in three of four games but has also thrown some pretty bad passes.  Hoyer amassed a mere 7 fantasy points last week and Buffalo’s top-ranked pass rush may keep him in the single digits once again.

The Bill’s starting QB Kyle Orton probably will not fare much better, as ESPN.com explains:

Orton does not have an easy matchup this week versus the Browns defense, which has nearly as many interceptions (15) as TD passes allowed (16).Also, Cleveland's run defense is so horrible, that the Bills likely will keep the football on the ground with the three-headed running back committee that just ran for 116 yards and two TDs against a stout Jets run defense on Monday night.

The total for this game is 42, and with both quarterbacks likely to struggle, many will be tempted to bet on the UNDER.
