Brasil v Ecuador odds had Brasil at 1/4 while Ecuador would pay out 8 to 1 odds with a shock win.  The draw would pay out 9 to 2 odds (odds vary per online bookmaker).

For non-US residents, William Hill was offering odds on Brasil winning by three or more goals at 7/2 odds, previously 11/4.

For Brasil to qualify, they must either win or Venezuela must beat Paraguay.

Ecuador advances if they somehow manage to beat Brasil and there is a Venezuela/Paraquay draw.

Antonio Valencia will miss this game for Ecuador.

The Brazilians were favorites coming into the Copa America games along with Argentina but players have lacked confidence.

"I'm the first to criticise the way I'm playing when things are not working," Brazil's youngest playmaker, Paulo Henrique Ganso, said on Monday. "I try to look at what's wrong, at what needs to improve, and then I try to fix it so I can start playing well again."

It's always good to play well, but the only thing we need right now is a result that will keep us in the tournament," striker Fred said. "We need to win, then we can start worrying about getting better and playing the type of football the fans like to watch."
