The online bookmakers continue to make a killing with their biggest start to the season in history, going way back to the offshore call center days.  And the bloodshed continued for sports bettors Thursday with the Miami Hurricanes upset of heavily backed Georgia Tech.   Now the gambling public is hoping to redeem itself Friday night with Boise State, a team that is getting nearly 85 percent backing as the visiting favorite of -7 ½ at Sportsbook.com.

Boise is getting nearly 95 percent of the action on the moneyline as well to win outright.  This one is costly though requiring a $320 bet to win $100 or $32 bet to win $10.

Boise State begins its march through the WAC, starting off at Fresno State. The Broncos have won seven of their past eight against the Bulldogs, including a 61-10 win in 2008. Fresno State has lost nine straight against ranked opponents since defeating then-No. 18 Virginia 37-34 in overtime in 2004.

Boise State defeated Miami of Ohio 48-0 on Saturday, getting 307 passing yards and career-high four touchdowns from Kellen Moore while Titus Young finished with six catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns.

"It's nice to see him with a little bit of space and the ball in his hands," coach Chris Petersen said.

Moore threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns against Fresno State last season -- and Young led the passing game.

This is the most bet on game of the day Friday, but as we said, most of the action is lopsided in favor of Boise State.
